MEG AND ALFIE
 |
This is Meg and Alfie.
Myself and my other half Steve have 2 dogs both adopted from Knine - Meg a Collie cross - adopted nearly a year ago now. She was in foster with Nicky in Bradford - unsure where she came from think she was found running loose somewhere - which is probably right because she is an escape artist ha ha ha she is such a loving dog and we would not be without her - dispite the 4 sets of cushions and numerous socks and shoes she has eaten throughout the year. She loves her long walks and loves to jump on your head and lick you to death nearly suffocating in the process. She will dive on anyone who walks through the door to lick them and she really does not have a bad bone in her body - she also loves to stick her feet over the side of the pond when she is too hot as can be seen in one of the pics.
We also have Alfie who we got just 2 months aho from Kathy Trout - Kathy desribed him on dogpages.org as a nightmare yorkie from hell ha ha ha - he wuld not let you go near him and he snapped and tried to bite if you got 2 close. His owners had him since a pup but said he had snapped at the kids which is why they got rid of him. My mother has a yorkie and there are a nervous breed andwe do not have kids and I just could not resist when i heard his plight. And sure enough - he is the most adorable lovable little thing ever. He snapped at me on the first day and I told him off - since then he has been nothing but a sweetheart although he does bark when new people come in the house but he has not snapped at anyone. He gets on with Meg like they are a match made in heaven and although we have only had him 2 months we would never be without him now. - As you can see by the pics when we got him he was in desperate need of a haircut - he looks like a new man now ha ha ha.
Thats it now cant have anymore - house full as it is so stop posting those homing pics in there trying to tempt me ha ha ha
Thanks
Gemma
