Welcome and thanks so much for your help and support, without you we would not exist, as we have no kennels the only way we can save unwanted dogs & cats is through the fostering process. These dogs & cats have been to hell and back, we want you to love them and enjoy having them, but you should realise that a lot of the dogs & cats we rescue have various behaviour problems, typically housetraining due to being in a new environment or being a puppy or kitten, separation anxiety after the trauma of being abandoned, some dogs chase cats, some chew things and some cats scratch furniture they shouldn't. We work with a canine psychologist so can provide advice if you are faced with a problem and need assistance.

All potential new homes are checked for suitability for owning a dog or cat before it is rehomed with the new owner. However, equally important is the thought process we have to go through to make sure that the potential owner really is right for this dog or cat, do they match the needs of the owner, can the owner cope with this type of pet. Some of the dogs or cats that are rehomed are returned and we ALWAYS have them back, preferably back to the same foster for the sake of the dog or cat. Returns happen no matter how hard we try to ensure the right pet goes to the right home. Returns are very painful for the animals and sad for the fosters who were proud to see their dog or cat rehomed.

Rescue is tough and emotionally taxing but unbelievably rewarding, the kick you get from seeing an abandoned, unwanted, unloved dog or cat go to a loving new home is tremendous which makes it all worthwhile. All costs are covered for treatments, all we need from you is a warm, safe environment where they can prepare for a home for life.
